Phoenix Global Development Forum for Enterprises – Africa,

TPSF participated in the Phoenix Global Development Forum for Enterprises – Africa, held on 3 October 2026 at Johari Rotana, Dar es Salaam, under the theme “Discover New Africa, Explore New Opportunities.”

Representing TPSF, Director of Outreach and Membership Services, Ms. Kinanasy Seif, joined the roundtable discussion on “A Two-Way China–Tanzania Dialogue—Industrial Cooperation and Local Partnership-Building by Chinese Enterprises in Tanzania.”

The discussion highlighted the importance of positioning the private sector at the heart of Tanzania’s Dira 2050, with stronger focus on productive investment, local value addition, technology and skills transfer, job creation and meaningful partnerships between Tanzanian and Chinese enterprises.

Ms. Seif emphasized the need to move China–Tanzania economic cooperation from trade to investment, from projects to partnerships, and ultimately to shared prosperity.

Her message to Chinese enterprises was clear:

“Invest in Tanzania, produce with Tanzania, and grow with Tanzanian businesses.”

With its strategic location and access to regional and continental markets, Tanzania offers significant opportunities for investors seeking to build long-term partnerships and produce for the wider African market.

TPSF remains committed to connecting international investors with credible Tanzanian businesses and supporting partnerships that create lasting value for both sides.
